NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board has awarded Third Sector Leaders Kirklees a £350,000 contract for its Community Champions Covid Campaign.
The programme will support the development of a unified and flexible vaccination community-champions model across West Yorkshire, building on successful local pilots.
The model is designed to boost vaccination uptake, reduce inequalities and support underserved communities through a centrally coordinated but locally delivered approach.
The contract is expected to run for nine months from 1 September 2026 to 31 May 2027.
Third Sector Leaders Kirklees has been appointed through a direct award, with extreme and unavoidable urgency given as the justification.
