Liverpool City Council has awarded CAYP Psychology Limited a £302,080 contract to provide a clinical psychology-led education support service through Liverpool Virtual School.
The service will support children in care, previously looked-after children and children with a social worker, providing psychology-informed workforce development, consultation and strategic support to schools, social care professionals, carers and Virtual School staff.
The contract is expected to run from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with an option to extend for a further 12 months to 30 September 2030, subject to satisfactory performance.
Six tenders were received, with five assessed at the final stage. CAYP Psychology Limited was the sole supplier awarded a contract.
