The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking providers to deliver home care services and planned short breaks for unpaid carers supporting adults aged 18 and over with non-complex care needs.

The service is jointly commissioned by the Council and NHS North West London Integrated Care Board. It aims to help residents live independently, maintain choice and control over their care, and strengthen community support. Carers’ short breaks will provide planned time away from caring responsibilities to support their wellbeing and help sustain their caring role.

The contract has an estimated value of £232 million excluding VAT, with an initial five-year term and the possibility of a further three-year extension.
