Housing First for Young People
London Borough of Hackney
Location: London
The London Borough of Newham is inviting applications from providers to join Round 10 of its Pseudo-Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) for children’s externally commissioned care, accommodation and support services. The procurement supports looked-after children, care leavers and young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The PDPS covers the commissioning of care, accommodation and support services across the following service areas:
Providers may apply for one or more lots, subject to the requirements in the tender documents. The Council uses a staged application process, with rounds opening and closing at its discretion. Unsuccessful applicants may apply again in a subsequent round.
Interested organisations or consortia with relevant experience may apply to join the PDPS. Suppliers must submit an application through the Council’s Fusion e-tendering portal and meet the requirements set out in the Invitation to Tender (ITT).
Suppliers must submit a compliant application to be considered for admission. Specific qualification criteria and detailed requirements for each service area are provided in the procurement documents.
Price is not the only award criterion. The notice confirms that all evaluation criteria are detailed in the procurement documents; individual weightings are not disclosed in the supplied notice.
This opportunity may be relevant to providers of semi-independent accommodation, Ofsted-regulated children’s homes, supported lodgings and independent fostering services. Organisations working with looked-after children, care leavers and young people at risk of homelessness may wish to review the tender documents to confirm eligibility and application requirements.
