Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a provider to deliver a dedicated patient transport service supporting people who have been admitted with a stroke or suspected stroke.
The contract will cover the repatriation of patients from Hyper Acute Stroke Units to Yeovil District Hospital (YDH) following admission for a stroke or suspected stroke, including patients subsequently identified as stroke mimics.
The opportunity has an estimated value of £300,000 excluding VAT and is being procured as a single contract rather than through separate lots.
The successful provider will be responsible for delivering dedicated transport for patients requiring transfer back to Yeovil District Hospital from Hyper Acute Stroke Units.
