East Lothian Council is establishing a Flexible Purchasing System for providers of temporary emergency accommodation for individuals and households experiencing homelessness across East Lothian.

The requirement covers hotel and Bed & Breakfast-style accommodation used when other temporary accommodation is unavailable. Rooms will be purchased by the Council on a per-night basis.

Bidders will be subject to Police Scotland checks and must comply with GDPR requirements. Contract-specific KPIs also apply, with further details contained within the procurement documents.

Community benefits will be expected proportionate to each provider’s annual contract value.
