Proc-26-138 Childcare Sufficiency Assessment

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a provider to produce its Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA), assessing the demand, supply and gaps in childcare provision across Wrexham.

The provider will collate and analyse information from sources including population data, Care Inspectorate Wales Self-Assessment of Service Statements, survey results and consultation feedback. The work will result in a full assessment, summary document and five-year action plan developed with key partners identified by the Council.

All documentation must meet accessibility requirements, with the completed work handed over by 5pm on 16 December 2026.

Providers must have previous experience working with local authorities, developing Childcare Sufficiency Assessments or equivalent, alongside good knowledge of the childcare sector in Wales. This is a pass/fail requirement.
