Newcastle City Council, acting on behalf of a partnership of local authorities across the North East, is seeking a provider to deliver the North East Better Health at Work Award (NE-BHAWA). The service supports a free and flexible workplace health award scheme that is open to employers of all sizes, sectors and locations across the region.
The Better Health at Work Award recognises the efforts of employers in promoting and improving health and wellbeing within the workplace. The successful provider will be responsible for delivering the service across participating local authority areas in accordance with the specification set out within the Invitation to Tender.
The contract has an estimated value of £755,000 excluding VAT and will be awarded through an Open Procedure under the Light Touch Regime. The opportunity is identified as being particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs).
