Framework Agreement for Training Courses for Children’s and Adults Social Care Teams

Powys County Council is establishing a framework for experienced training providers to deliver social care training courses for its Adults and Children’s Services teams.

Training will be funded through the Social Care Wales Workforce Development Programme (SCWWDP), with an annual delivery schedule developed according to workforce demand, training needs and SCWWDP priorities.

The framework may appoint up to 100 suppliers and is particularly suitable for SMEs and voluntary, community and social enterprises.

Funding will be awarded annually in line with Welsh Government SCWWDP and Council grant allocations. Training providers are expected to receive at least three months’ notice of courses the Council intends to commission.

• Price – 15%

The framework provides a long-term opportunity for social care training organisations to support workforce development across Powys Adult and Children’s Services.
