Framework Agreement for Provision of Welsh Government Childcare for 2 year olds in Powys

Powys County Council is establishing a £15 million framework agreement for childcare settings to deliver Welsh Government-funded childcare for two-year-olds across Powys.

The programme will provide eligible children resident in Powys with up to 2.5 hours of free, high-quality childcare per day, to a maximum of 12.5 hours per week.

The service is intended to support children’s language, cognitive, social, emotional and physical development, alongside early identification of additional needs and wider support for families.

The arrangement will operate as an open framework with an unlimited number of suppliers. It is particularly suitable for SMEs and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs).
