Contract for a Befriending Network

Hartlepool Borough Council is seeking a provider to deliver an expanded Befriending Network supporting adults aged 18 and over who are experiencing social isolation or exclusion.

The service will match individuals with volunteer befrienders for a specified period, with the aim of building confidence and resilience, reducing social isolation and increasing social contact.

The opportunity is particularly suitable for SMEs and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
