CAWT PEACEPLUS Community Connections and Wellbeing project (CCWP) – Delivery of Psychosocial Activities and Community Supports (WHSCT & SHSCT Areas)

The Regional Business Services Organisation, Procurement and Logistics Service is seeking providers to deliver psychosocial activities and community support services across areas covered by the Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) and Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT) in Northern Ireland.

The services form part of the CAWT PEACEPLUS Community Connections and Wellbeing Project (CCWP), which is designed to strengthen community capacity and improve health and wellbeing by working with existing organisations, initiatives and local communities.

The project aims to help people develop the skills, knowledge, tools and confidence needed to access opportunities and appropriate health and social care support.

Providers appointed through the procurement will deliver psychosocial activities and community supports on a one-to-one and/or group basis.

Lots Available

The procurement has been divided into four geographical lots:

  • Lot 1 – WHSCT Area 1
  • Lot 2 – WHSCT Area 2
  • Lot 3 – SHSCT Area 1
  • Lot 4 – SHSCT Area 2

Tenderers may submit bids for a maximum of four lots, although no individual tenderer can be awarded more than two lots.

The services cover Northern Ireland delivery areas falling within the boundaries of the Western Health and Social Care Trust and Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

Buyer: Regional Business Services Organisation, Procurement and Logistics Service

Deadline: 12th October 2026 at 15:00

Contract Value: £3,369,570 excluding VAT

Delivery Length: From the commencement date specified in the Contract Award Letter until 31st March 2029, with optional extensions of up to 24 months in total

The estimated contract value incorporates the initial delivery period, potential extensions of up to 24 months and a possible increase in service volumes of up to 50%.

The contracting authority has made clear that the estimated value does not guarantee expenditure, minimum demand or service uptake.

Service Requirements

Successful providers will be responsible for delivering community-based psychosocial activities and community supports.

Delivery may include both:

  • One-to-one psychosocial activities
  • Group-based psychosocial activities
  • One-to-one community supports
  • Group-based community supports

The wider project is intended to build capacity within participating communities while helping individuals access high-quality and accessible health and social care support.

The opportunity provides community, health and social care organisations with the chance to participate in a cross-community wellbeing programme focused on psychosocial support, community connections and improved access to health and social care services across the WHSCT and SHSCT areas.
