Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has awarded a contract for the provision of transport services to its Pathology Department, including GP-related transport requirements.
The contract has been awarded to Connections Express following a direct award procedure.
The service will support transport requirements for the Trust’s pathology operations and is scheduled to run from 7 July 2026 until 31 March 2027.

The award decision was made on 23 June 2026, with the contract expected to be signed on 7 July 2026.
