Trafford Council has selected LearnActive NW Ltd to deliver its 1:1 Short Break Group Holiday Provision for children and young people aged five to 18.
The service is intended to provide appropriate age groupings, with consideration given to avoiding groups containing children at significantly different developmental stages. Providers must also be Ofsted registered to allow children under eight to attend a full session, or be actively working towards registration.
The contract is valued at £21,000 excluding VAT and is expected to run from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027, with two optional 12-month extensions potentially taking the agreement to 30 September 2029.
Two tenders were received, with one assessed in the final stage and LearnActive NW appointed as the successful provider.
The award decision was made on 25 August 2026 following a below-threshold open competition.
