East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust Wins West Northamptonshire Oral Health Contract

West Northamptonshire Council has awarded East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust a contract to deliver its Oral Health Improvement Service across West Northamptonshire.

The service will provide targeted, evidence-based interventions aimed at reducing oral health inequalities and improving outcomes for children, young people, vulnerable adults and older people.

Key activities will include supervised toothbrushing programmes in early years and school settings, oral health training for professionals, support for organisations to promote good oral health practices, partnership working and the targeted distribution of oral health resources and materials.

The contract is valued at £497,752 excluding VAT (£597,302.40 including VAT).

The initial contract will run for two years, from 3 September 2026 to 31 August 2028, with two further one-year extension options potentially taking the agreement through to 31 August 2030.

A total of five tenders were received and assessed, with East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust the sole supplier awarded the contract.

The award decision was made on 18 August 2026, with the contract expected to be signed no earlier than 3 September 2026.
