NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership – Procurement Services, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, has awarded a £587,980 excluding VAT (£705,576 including VAT) contract to Arjo to extend its current bed management service.
Awarded through a direct award procedure, the contract provides a two-month extension to the existing bed managed service while Swansea Bay University Health Board prepares a new procurement for the service.
The extension is expected to run from 17 August 2026 to 19 October 2026.
The award decision was made on 20 July 2026, with the contract expected to be signed from 17 August 2026, following the standstill period.
