Shropshire Council has awarded A4U a contract to deliver its Adults Autism Community Engagement Support Service across Shropshire.
The service will provide short-term, autism-informed support for autistic adults aged 18 and over at any stage of diagnosis, helping people access local support, services and community resources while building confidence and independence.
A4U was selected following a below-threshold open competition, with four tenders received and three assessed at the final stage.
The contract is valued at £40,000 including VAT and is expected to run from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027. The award decision was made on 27 August 2026.
