An Accommodation Based Housing Related Support Service for People Experiencing Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV)

Wrexham County Borough Council is inviting tenders for an accommodation-based housing support service for people experiencing violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence (VAWDASV), with a maximum contract value of £518,000 excluding VAT.

The service will be funded through the Welsh Government’s Housing Support Grant and will focus on preventing homelessness and helping individuals secure and maintain suitable accommodation.

The successful provider will deliver housing-related support to help people develop the independence, confidence and practical skills needed to maintain stable housing.

The opportunity is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs).

The Council requires a flexible service capable of accommodating additional support hours, staffing or accommodation capacity if further funding becomes available. Additional funding is not guaranteed.
