NP93827 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is inviting tenders for the supply of seasonal influenza vaccines to NHS Scotland for its 2027/28 vaccination programme, with an estimated contract value of £19 million.

The procurement covers vaccines for adults and children, in line with Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) recommendations.

Lots Available

The contract is divided into three lots:

• Lot 1 – Over-65s: £13,708,000
• Lot 2 – Under-65s: £5,200,000
• Lot 3 – Children aged 6 months to 17 years contraindicated to LAIV: £292,000

Each lot is intended to be awarded to a single supplier. Suppliers offering the same vaccine for Lots 1 and 2 can only be awarded one of those lots.

Supplier Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Valid MHRA-approved UK Marketing Authorisation for all vaccines offered.
• BS EN ISO 9001 certification or equivalent.
• Compliance with relevant medicines packaging and labelling requirements.
• Evidence of climate change awareness and response measures.
• Agreement to support community benefits.
