NHS Somerset ICB has awarded Bluestar Pre-Trial Support C.I.C. a £250,000 contract to support the development of child sexual abuse systems and pathways across the South West.
The project aims to improve the coordination, accessibility and consistency of responses for children and young people affected by child sexual abuse across health, justice, safeguarding and voluntary sector services.
Work will include needs assessments, service mapping, workforce development, governance and pathway improvements, alongside co-production with children, young people and families.
The contract is expected to run from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027.
The contract was awarded through a direct award procedure, with the award decision made on 7 April 2026.
