Adult Community Audiology Services

NHS Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (HIOW ICB) is inviting bids for the delivery of a new Adult Community Audiology Service across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

The service will provide assessment, diagnosis and management of hearing loss for eligible adults, with provision required across the entire Hampshire and Isle of Wight footprint.

Providers will be expected to deliver the service in accordance with NHS England standards, recognised best practice and local commissioning requirements.

The procurement covers ENT or audiologist services and is being commissioned as a single contract rather than being divided into separate lots.

The initial contract term will run for five years, with the ICB retaining the option to extend the arrangement once for a further two years.

Procurement and Regulatory Information

The opportunity is being conducted through an open procedure and is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice.

The award of the contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The ICB confirms that the Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
