Westminster City Council has awarded Carers Network Westminster a £4.79 million contract to deliver its Carers Hub Service across Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
The service will provide assessments, advice, activities and support for unpaid carers supporting residents across both boroughs, helping the councils meet their obligations under the Care Act 2014 and Children and Families Act 2014.
The contract is expected to begin on 8 September 2026 and run until 31 August 2031, with two optional two-year extensions potentially extending the agreement until 31 August 2035.
Carers Network Westminster was the sole bidder, with one tender received and assessed.
The award decision was made on 2 September 2026.
