Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is inviting competent consultancy companies to tender for the design, development and delivery of a PEACEPLUS Social and Emotional Intergenerational Support programme focused on music and dance.

The programme, titled Rhythm Across Generations, will use music and dance to bring generations together through interactive activities delivered across the Council area.

The successful provider will be responsible for delivering seven intergenerational Music and Dance programmes, with one programme taking place in each District Electoral Area (DEA).

Programme Requirements

The seven programmes will include interactive workshops exploring how music and dance have changed and evolved through recent history.

Each programme will also include an end-of-programme celebration event, with examples provided including a tea dance or music concert.

The requirement covers education and training services, recreational, cultural and sporting services, and other community, social and personal services.
