North Northamptonshire Council has established a new open framework for the provision of educational support services for children and young people aged 0 to 25 with identified educational needs, including those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The framework is designed to provide timely, high-quality educational support services that help children and young people reach their full potential. Services aim to improve educational attainment, increase engagement and attendance, enhance communication, social, emotional and independence skills, deliver assessments and interventions within agreed timescales, and achieve positive feedback from children, families and schools.
The framework is divided into five lots:
The agreement has an estimated combined value of £6.413 million, comprising:
The framework is expected to commence on 13 July 2026 and run until 30 June 2030.
A total of 120 providers have been appointed across the five lots, with 13 suppliers awarded places on Lot 1, 10 suppliers on Lot 2, 11 suppliers on Lot 3, 38 suppliers on Lot 4 and 48 suppliers on Lot 5.
The award decision was made on 22 June 2026, with assessment summaries issued to tenderers on 23 June 2026. The earliest contract signature date was 13 July 2026.
