The Department of Health has announced its intention to award a contract to Impower Consulting Limited to support the development of a Preventative Adult Social Care and Support Framework for Northern Ireland.
The work will support delivery of the Department’s Reforming Adult Social Care and Support (2026–2036) strategy and its accompanying Delivery Plan (2026–2029), specifically Priority 3: Prevention and Early Intervention.
Under the contract, Impower Consulting will provide specialist support to develop a preventative framework, quantify opportunities for improvement, establish mechanisms for collaborative system learning, and develop actionable proposals aimed at delivering measurable improvements in outcomes, service capacity and value for money.
The contract has been awarded with a value of £235,810 excluding VAT (£282,972 including VAT).
The contract is expected to run from 27 July 2026 until 27 November 2026.
The procurement was conducted as a Direct Award under the Light Touch Regime.
