People who use, work in or have an interest in children’s social services in Conwy are being invited to share their experiences ahead of an assurance check taking place in September.
The review will examine how Conwy County Council is carrying out its responsibilities and functions for children’s social services in line with legislation.
The assurance check is being carried out on behalf of Welsh Ministers and will consider the local authority’s performance in delivering its social services duties.
Feedback is being sought from a broad range of people, including those who use social services, employees working within the services and wider stakeholders with an interest in how support is provided.
Separate surveys have been made available for each group, including an easy read version for people who use social services.
People wishing to contribute to the review have until 16 September 2026 to submit their feedback.
The findings from the assurance check will be set out in a letter which will be published online once the review has been completed and the findings finalised.
