University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a provider to deliver a GP-managed clinical service for its Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The provider will operate the UTC alongside UHS Emergency Department clinicians for 12 hours per day, treating patients with minor illnesses who are directed to the service by UHS staff.
The contract has an estimated value of £2.25 million excluding VAT and will run for an initial three years, with two optional 12-month extensions.

The opportunity provides a significant contract for clinical service providers capable of delivering a GP-managed urgent treatment service alongside existing NHS emergency care teams.
