South Cambridgeshire District Council is seeking a suitably qualified provider to deliver a Strength & Balance Activity Delivery programme across the district.
The externally funded service will provide Tier 1 community-based strength and balance classes designed to reduce the incidence and impact of falls and related injuries among older adults. The programme aims to help people maintain their independence, mobility and overall wellbeing through accessible community-based physical activity.
The contract will commence on 17 August 2026 for an initial period of three years, with the option for the Council to extend the agreement by up to two further one-year periods.
The opportunity has been identified as being particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
