Sandwell Integrated Sexual Health Services

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a provider to deliver an Integrated Sexual Health Service (ISH) designed to support residents to achieve positive sexual and reproductive health outcomes. The service aims to provide high-quality care that enables people to live healthy sexual and reproductive lives free from discrimination, coercion, exploitation and violence, with a particular focus on those at greatest risk of poor access to services and poorer health outcomes.

The Council intends to award a single contract for the service. Providers may bid individually, as part of a consortium or through subcontracting arrangements, subject to the evaluation methodology set out within the Invitation to Tender documentation.

The procurement is being undertaken under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, using the Competitive Process.

Service Overview

The Integrated Sexual Health Service will:

• Deliver sexual and reproductive health services for residents across Sandwell.
• Focus on improving access and outcomes for those at greatest risk of poor sexual health.
• Support residents to access high-quality care in an environment free from discrimination, coercion, exploitation and violence.
• Be delivered through a single contractual arrangement, which may include subcontracting or consortium delivery models.
