Bolton Council has opened applications for Round 15 of its Wraparound Childcare Programme Revenue Grant Funding, aimed at supporting the expansion of wraparound childcare provision across the borough.
The funding is intended to increase the availability of wraparound childcare places, with applications prioritised in areas identified as having the greatest need. According to the Council, priority will be given to projects that address gaps in existing provision, based on findings from the local sufficiency audit and Department for Education data, while supporting parents in areas where childcare options are currently limited.
Eligible applicants must create an account on The Chest, the North West’s Local Authority Procurement Portal, where full application guidance is available. As part of the application process, providers will also be required to complete additional Health and Safety, insurance, and due diligence checks.
