North Tyneside Borough Council, in partnership with Northumberland County Council, is seeking a provider to deliver support services for people experiencing rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping across both local authority areas.
The procurement is being undertaken under the Open Procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. The successful provider will deliver tailored support services as part of a wider approach to preventing homelessness, reducing rough sleeping, and helping individuals access appropriate accommodation and support.
The Councils state that the service forms part of a broader programme of measures designed to support households experiencing homelessness, including people sleeping rough.
Buyer – North Tyneside Borough Council and Northumberland County Council
Deadline – 13 July 2026 – 12:00pm
Contract Value – £525,000 excluding VAT (£630,000 including VAT)
Delivery Length – 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2029, with the option to extend for two further one-year periods until 31 August 2031.
