PRJ 2261 – Neighbourhood Health Community Prevention and Empowerment

NHS South West London Integrated Care Board (Croydon Place) is seeking providers to deliver a new neighbourhood-based prevention and empowerment programme designed to support population health and reduce health inequalities across Croydon.

The procurement is divided into three locality-based lots covering North, Central and South Croydon. The programme is intended to support integrated neighbourhood working through targeted prevention services aligned with the Neighbourhood Health model. Providers may bid for one, two or all three lots, with each submission evaluated independently.

Service Lots

Lot 1 – SWL North Croydon Healthy Lifestyle Behaviours Service

This service focuses on supporting high-risk communities through targeted interventions promoting healthy weight management, smoking cessation and alcohol reduction. Delivery is aimed at residents experiencing higher levels of deprivation and groups identified as being at increased risk of poor health outcomes.

Lot 2 – SWL Central Croydon Prevention, Access and Health Equity Service

This lot combines three targeted programmes covering digital inclusion and NHS App uptake, welfare, housing and financial advice, and improving childhood immunisation uptake through community engagement and partnership working.

Lot 3 – SWL South Croydon Weight Management, Independence & Wellbeing Service

The service will provide targeted weight management support alongside programmes addressing unpaid carer strain, loneliness and social isolation, working closely with primary care, Croydon Council and voluntary sector partners.

Buyer – NHS South West London Integrated Care Board

Deadline – 14 August 2026 – 5:00pm

Contract Value – £2,252,128 (inclusive of VAT)

Delivery Length – 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
