Plymouth Adults’ Care Home Framework (Reopening 2)

Plymouth City Council is reopening its Adults’ Care Home Framework to registered residential and nursing care homes with a PL postcode.

The framework has an estimated total value of £500 million excluding VAT and covers accommodation and care for adults requiring support due to age, disability or health conditions.

The Council is seeking providers offering residential care, nursing care and specialist support for individuals with complex needs.

Service Lots

• Lot 1 – Residential Care Home with or without Nursing Services: Residential, nursing and specialist care, including support for people with complex physical, cognitive, mental health or behavioural needs.
• Lot 2 – Residential & Nursing Care Home Services Innovation: The services covered by Lot 1, with opportunities for providers to contribute to future commissioning approaches, including complex care, intermediate care, pricing and staffing models.

Providers can apply for either or both lots.
