Improving HPV uptake in school leavers living in areas of high deprivation

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver physiotherapy services alongside its in-house Occupational Health Unit.
The service will support the Council’s occupational health provision for employees and public-sector partners. The Occupational Health Unit currently serves approximately 10,000 individuals working across a range of manual, technical and administrative roles.
The successful provider may also be required to deliver services to other local authorities or schools under the terms of the contract.
The opportunity has an estimated value of £240,000 excluding VAT and is expected to run for an initial two years, with the option to extend for a further year subject to satisfactory performance.
The appointed provider will work with Sandwell Council’s in-house Occupational Health Unit to deliver the physiotherapy services detailed within the procurement specification.

The service is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Occupational Health Team Manager.
Alongside supporting Council employees, the Occupational Health Unit provides services to a range of public-sector partners. Under the contract, the successful physiotherapy provider may therefore also be required to supply services to other local authorities or schools.
