Karbon Homes is seeking a provider to deliver an on-site first responder care and support service for older people living in three extra care housing schemes across the North East.
The successful provider will deliver an on-site first response service through a dedicated Care Team, supporting residents with extra care needs at Weavers Court in Alnwick, The Manors in Prudhoe, and The Elms in Chester-le-Street.
The procurement has been divided into three individual lots, allowing providers to bid for one or more locations.
Lot 1 – Weavers Court
Provision of an onsite first responder service for the extra care scheme at Weavers Court, Swordy Drive, Alnwick (58 properties).
Lot 2 – The Manors
Provision of an onsite first responder service for The Manors, Adderlane Road, Prudhoe (46 properties).
Lot 3 – The Elms
Provision of an onsite first responder service for The Elms, Moorfoot Avenue, Chester-le-Street (54 properties).
Buyer – Karbon Homes
Deadline – 7 August 2026 – 12:00pm
Contract Value – £2,000,000 including VAT
Delivery Length – 29 September 2026 to 27 September 2029, with the option to extend by two further 12-month periods until 27 September 2031.
