NHS North East London Integrated Care Board is undertaking market engagement ahead of a proposed £19.1 million Community Dermatology Service covering six North East London boroughs.
The consultant-managed service is expected to provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up for patients with skin, hair and nail conditions across Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
Proposed provision includes referral assessment and triage, Advice & Guidance, specialist outpatient consultations, diagnostic investigations, minor dermatological procedures and management of acute and long-term dermatological conditions.
The service will work alongside primary care, acute trusts and other healthcare partners, with pathways for onward referral where hospital-based specialist intervention is required.
A market engagement event will be held on 29 September 2026 from 12:00pm to 1:15pm.
The event will cover proposed service requirements and outcomes, procurement and mobilisation timescales, the proposed contract duration and financial model, and provider networking.
A maximum of two attendees per organisation may attend.
