North Cumbria Disordered Eating Service

NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (NENC ICB) is seeking a provider to deliver a Disordered Eating Support Service across North Cumbria.

The service will be procured using the Most Suitable Provider (MSP) process and must include a face-to-face service offer delivered from locations across North Cumbria, including Carlisle, Eden and West Cumbria.

Providers will be responsible for securing and maintaining suitable premises for service delivery. The ICB has confirmed that no additional funding will be provided for mobilisation or premises costs.

The annual contract value is £80,000, with the estimated total value based on the potential contract duration.

Service Overview

The successful provider will be required to:

  • Deliver disordered eating support services across North Cumbria
  • Provide face-to-face services from locations including Carlisle, Eden and West Cumbria
  • Maintain suitable premises for service delivery at their own cost
  • Deliver services in accordance with the requirements of the Most Suitable Provider process

Deadline – 17 July 2026

Contract Value – £160,000 (estimated total value excluding VAT)

Delivery Length – 12 months from 1 October 2026, with the option to extend for a further 12 months subject to future funding and at the discretion of NENC ICB

Evaluation Criteria

The procurement will be assessed using the Most Suitable Provider process. Evaluation will be based on:

  • PSR 2023 Five Key Criteria and service-specific requirements
  • Agreement to the available annual funding envelope

Procurement Information

The ICB has confirmed that providers wishing to participate must submit an Expression of Interest by the stated deadline. A previous market engagement exercise relating to this opportunity was undertaken in November 2025.

This opportunity provides organisations with experience in delivering disordered eating support services the opportunity to deliver community-based, face-to-face support for people across North Cumbria.
