The service is designed to help unpaid carers maintain their own health and wellbeing while continuing in their caring role, ensuring carers are recognised, valued and supported. It will also act as a single point of contact for accessing support and onward referrals to other services.
The procurement has been divided into two lots:
This lot will provide the front door to the service, ensuring unpaid carers can access information, advice, holistic emotional wellbeing support and practical assistance, while connecting them with the wider support system.
This lot focuses on building peer support networks, delivering outreach activities and strengthening community-based engagement for unpaid carers.
