London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS) is inviting suitably qualified organisations to tender for the provision of Ambulance Resilience Services across London.
The procurement is being conducted through an Open Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023, incorporating Light Touch flexibilities due to the nature of the services being commissioned.LAS Ambulance Services Resilience Partnership
LAS is seeking to establish resilience partnerships that can provide additional support when demand on ambulance services increases, including during unforeseeable or unprecedented incidents.
The Trust reports that demand for its services continues to increase year on year, with June 2026 recording the highest number of 999 calls received in a single day in its history.
Through this procurement, LAS is looking for partners able to work collaboratively with the Trust in delivering high-quality patient care. The Trust has also highlighted its expectation that partners demonstrate a commitment to being a first-class employer while delivering value for money in patient care.
The procurement covers ambulance services across London under CPV classification 85143000 – Ambulance services.

The Trust has also reserved the right to make additional purchases while the contract remains valid, as detailed within the Procurement Documents.

The opportunity has been identified as particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs).
The opportunity is being procured through an Open Procedure with the Light Touch special regime applying.
Electronic tender submissions are permitted and submissions must be made in English. Payment terms are 30 days.
The procurement is covered by the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA).
