East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking Independent Best Interest Assessors (BIAs) to support the completion of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) assessments for vulnerable adults.
Providers appointed to the Pseudo Open Framework will undertake assessments under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 across the East Riding of Yorkshire and, occasionally, outside the county.
The framework will reopen annually, with existing appointed providers remaining on the framework without needing to reapply.

The opportunity is particularly suitable for SMEs and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs), with an unlimited number of suppliers able to join the framework.
