Housing Support and Tenancy Sustainment Service

Uttlesford District Council is seeking to commission a Housing Support and Tenancy Sustainment Service aimed at preventing homelessness across the district by supporting predominantly single individuals to retain existing accommodation and access suitable housing, including privately rented accommodation.

The Council stated that the service will focus on helping people sustain tenancies and reduce the risk of homelessness through housing-related support. The procurement is being undertaken as a below-threshold, single-stage open procurement under the Light Touch Regime, with the contract expected to commence on 1 October 2026.

The successful provider will be awarded an initial two-year contract, with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months, giving a maximum contract term of three years.
