Homeless Support with Accommodation – MDC

Mansfield District Council is seeking a provider to deliver Homeless Support with Accommodation services for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across the Mansfield district.

The successful provider will deliver accommodation-based support for individuals requiring assistance while providing access to a mix of self-contained and shared accommodation comprising a minimum of 40 units across the district. The contract covers the support element only and does not include property rental.

According to the Council, accommodation must be safe, secure and fit for occupation, with no Category 1 or Category 2 hazards or unacceptable health and safety risks as defined by the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS). Providers will also be required to ensure all accommodation complies with relevant housing health and safety requirements.

The appointed provider must have all resources in place to commence service delivery on 1 September 2026.

Service Requirements

The successful provider will be expected to:

• Deliver accommodation-based support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
• Provide access to a minimum of 40 units of self-contained and shared accommodation across Mansfield.
• Ensure accommodation is safe, secure and compliant with housing health and safety requirements.
• Deliver support services from the commencement of the contract on 1 September 2026.

The contract covers the provision of support services only and excludes the rental of properties.

• Quality – 70%
• Price – 30%
