Greater Manchester Drugs Early Warning System (DEWS)

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is seeking a provider to deliver and manage the Greater Manchester Drugs Early Warning System (DEWS) across all 10 local authority areas.

The provider will be responsible for managing professional drug information networks, overseeing the Greater Manchester Local Drug Information System alert panel and producing appropriate drug alerts.

The service will also require liaison with relevant regional and national organisations and systems to share intelligence relating to drug alerts and emerging drug trends.

Contract Value: £111,204 excluding VAT

Delivery Length: 2 November 2026 to 1 November 2029, with two optional 12-month extensions subject to satisfactory delivery

• Technical Quality Questions – 95%
• Social Value – 5%
