GMCA 1984 Provision of Greater Manchester Faith and Belief Advisory Panel Facilitation

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is seeking to appoint a provider to deliver Faith and Belief Advisory Panel Facilitation services.

The contract will support the Greater Manchester Faith and Belief Advisory Panel, one of the Greater Manchester Equality Panels established to advise, support and challenge political leaders and policy-makers in tackling discrimination and disadvantage, while promoting Greater Manchester as an inclusive city-region.

The appointed provider will facilitate the work of the panel in partnership with GMCA and its partners to strengthen engagement with diverse communities and support the development of inclusive policies and programmes.

Service Overview

The successful provider will support the Faith and Belief Advisory Panel to:

  • Provide insight into Greater Manchester’s diverse communities to enable targeted and effective engagement.
  • Communicate key messages to communities as trusted sources.
  • Co-design policies, programmes and strategies with GMCA and partners.
  • Support an asset-based approach by identifying opportunities and challenges for collaboration that build on the strengths and resources within local communities.

Contract Information

Buyer – Greater Manchester Combined Authority

Deadline – 17 August 2026 – 11:59pm

Contract Value – £174,576 excluding VAT (£209,491 including VAT)

Delivery Length – 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027, with the option to extend by up to two further 12-month periods until 31 October 2029.
