CSP26488 – UKRI Occupational Health

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is seeking a single provider to deliver occupational health services for approximately 9,000 employees across its organisation. The procurement aims to harmonise occupational health provision across all UKRI councils under one contract.

The procurement is being managed through the Jaggaer eSourcing Portal. UKRI has confirmed that all tender submissions must be made via the portal and suppliers must not apply directly to the buyer.

The successful provider will deliver occupational health services as outlined within the tender documentation. UKRI has advised suppliers to review all procurement documents available within the Jaggaer eSourcing Portal to ensure a full understanding of the requirement.

The contract will be awarded using the evaluation criteria set out within the Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation.

Contract Value – £1,250,000 excluding VAT (£1,500,000 including VAT)

Delivery Length – 11 September 2026 to 11 September 2029, with the option to extend for a further two years

Evaluation Criteria

The contract will be evaluated on:

• Quality – 80%
• Price – 20%

UKRI is conducting the procurement using the Competitive Flexible Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023 and the Procurement Regulations 2024. The process will consist of two stages, with an initial tender submission followed by demonstrations for invited bidders. UKRI has stated that only tenders capable of becoming the Most Advantageous Tender following Stage 1 evaluation may be invited to progress to Stage 2.
