CMCV 114 – Specialist Short Breaks: Holiday Club

Shropshire Council is seeking a provider to deliver a Specialist Community Based Holiday Club during school holidays for children and young people with a disability. The service will support children and young people living within the Shropshire local authority area, excluding the Borough of Telford & Wrekin.

The contract forms an integral part of the council’s overall short breaks offer, helping to meet its statutory duty to provide short breaks during school holidays. Alongside providing fun and engaging activities for children and young people with a disability, the service is intended to give parent carers opportunities for respite from their caring responsibilities.

Support will primarily be delivered within Shropshire, although providers will have the flexibility to access community activities outside the area where this helps create a varied and attractive holiday club programme.

Deadline – 24 August 2026, 12:00pm

Contract Value – £300,000 including VAT

Delivery Length – 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with the option to extend until 30 September 2031 through two 12-month extensions.
