Children’s Centres and Best Start Family Hubs

Royal Borough of Greenwich is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender for the delivery of Children’s Centres and Best Start Family Hubs services across the borough.

The contract will establish a borough-wide, place-based early years and family support service, combining a consistent universal offer with targeted interventions for children and families with additional needs.

The service will focus on giving children the best start in life, improving child development and family wellbeing, strengthening parenting capacity, and ensuring families can access coordinated support across local services.

Providers will be expected to work closely with health, education, early help, children’s social care and the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector.

Services must be delivered using strengths-based, trauma-informed and relational approaches, with accessible and evidence-informed support and clear pathways between services.

The delivery model will align with the Council’s Children and Young People’s Plan, Best Start in Life, Family Hubs and Families First Partnership Programme.
