Child Focused Court Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) Support Service within the county’s Family Courts

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is seeking a provider to deliver a specialist Child Focused Courts Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) Support Service across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

The service will provide trauma-informed support, advocacy, risk assessment and safety planning for adult victim-survivors of domestic abuse involved in private family law proceedings.

The provider will work alongside Family Courts, Cafcass, local authorities and other partners to identify risks early, support victim-survivors throughout proceedings and contribute to improved outcomes for children and families.
