Trafford Council is inviting tenders for the provision of 1:1 Short Break Group Holiday services for children and young people (CYP) aged 5 to 18 years across the borough.
The service is intended to provide short break group holiday provision for children and young people, with providers expected to propose appropriate age groupings while ensuring children at significantly different developmental stages are not grouped together. The contracting authority states that providers must be registered with Ofsted to enable children under the age of eight to attend a full session, or be actively working towards registration.
The contract has an estimated value of £63,000 excluding VAT and is expected to commence on 1 October 2026, with an initial term running until 30 September 2027. The contract includes the option to extend on a yearly basis for up to a further two years, allowing for a maximum contract duration of three years.

The total weighted quality and price scores will be combined to determine the overall ranking of bidders and the successful supplier.
Providers must be registered with Ofsted to allow children under eight years of age to attend full sessions or be actively working towards achieving Ofsted registration.
The opportunity is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs). The procurement will be undertaken using a below-threshold open competition under the Light Touch Regime.
