North Tyneside Council Awards £370,000 Paediatric Occupational Therapy Contract for Special Schools

North Tyneside Borough Council has awarded a contract for the provision of Paediatric Occupational Therapy Support to Special Schools to Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The contract has been awarded via the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Direct Award – Option C under a user choice contract.

The agreement has a value of £370,000 excluding VAT (£444,000 including VAT) and is expected to run from 4 July 2026 to 31 March 2027.

The contract includes the option to extend for one further 12-month period, which could see the agreement continue until 31 March 2028.

The service covers the provision of paediatric occupational therapy support for special schools within North Tyneside.
